TikTok Shop Is Opening 4 New EU Markets — Furniture Dropshippers Should Move Now

Four more European countries join TikTok Shop in eight days. The sellers who register this week will have a head start no late-mover can buy back.

TikTok Shop confirmed this week that Austria, Belgium, the Netherlands, and Poland go live on its platform on 15 June 2026. They join France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Spain, and the UK — taking TikTok Shop to 10 European markets. That is a window, and it closes fast.

The numbers behind the expansion are not small. Since TikTok Shop launched in the EU in late 2024, over 100,000 European businesses have joined, and daily Gross Merchandise Value across France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and Ireland grew at triple-digit rates between August 2025 and February 2026. That is the baseline the four new markets are launching into.

For furniture dropshippers, the opportunity is specific. Germany and Spain — both existing TikTok Shop markets — are already among Europe’s largest furniture importing countries. If you have EU-based fulfilment in either, you are already positioned to sell into Austria and the Netherlands without a new logistics contract. The “Sell Across Europe” feature, launching shortly after the June 15 market openings, makes this explicit: one registration, localised product descriptions, and TikTok Shop’s own partnered carriers handle cross-border shipping to any EU market where the platform operates.

Why this matters for dropshippers
TikTok Shop charges sellers a 9% commission and explicitly permits dropshipping. The “Sell Across Europe” single-registration model means a dropshipper with one EU-based supplier can list across all 10 markets without separate entity setup in each country.

The discovery model is also a different kind of moat than SEO. On Amazon or Google Shopping, a latecoming competitor with a better listing can displace you overnight. On TikTok Shop, early sellers accumulate creator affiliate relationships — approved creators who promote products in exchange for commission. Those creator networks take time to build. A dropshipper who signs up this week and spends a fortnight recruiting creator affiliates will have a meaningful advantage over one who waits until July.

Poland is the market worth watching most closely. It is one of Central Europe’s fastest-growing e-commerce economies and has seen explosive TikTok adoption among 18–34 year olds. Furniture and home décor consistently over-perform on TikTok’s For You feed because the visual format suits aspirational interior content. At Artisan Furniture, our EU dropshipping programme already routes orders through German and Spanish warehouses — the logistics infrastructure for Poland and Austria is already in place.

The practical checklist for the next eight days is short: register seller intent via TikTok’s listed business email (as reported by Ecommerce News Europe), audit your product catalogue for the platform’s content policies, and identify two or three creator affiliates in the new markets to contact at launch. That is the whole head start — it just requires doing it now rather than after the June 15 headline cycle fades.

The gap between sellers who moved early on TikTok Shop in Germany and those who waited six months was visible in the GMV data by early 2026. The same pattern is about to repeat in four more countries. The question is which side of the launch window you want to be on.
